NJAWBO AWARD RECIPIENTS

NJAWBO presents Awards to their outstanding Members. These are presented at NJAWBO's Annual Conference in the Fall.  To qualify for the award, the nominees must satisfy certain criteria.

2010 Business Woman of the Year:

Sandra Bauman, Bergen Chapter
Sandra Bauman started her business in 2002 with a strong desire to build a research practice centered on high-quality research conducted with ethics and integrity. The secret to her success was building a comprehensive network of other senior level professionals whose expertise allowed her to have a “deep bench” without the overhead. Over the last seven years, she has built a network that includes top branding, positioning, marketing and strategy experts, many who are partners and data collection partners world-wide. Exceeding her business growth goals from year one, she achieved the $1 million revenue mark in her 5th year.

A large part of her business strategy has been to partner with other small firms. Most of these partnerships have been with other women-owned businesses which some of whom are NJAWBO members. She credits NJAWBO with playing a big role in her business education. She also used the products and services of numerous NJAWBO members, referred others to NJAWBO member businesses, and been a conduit for women she believes could ollaborate for more overall success.
