Group Admin Manual
Region Group Admin status is connected to a member's Profile by the office staff as Site Administrators. As Group Admins for each Region may change every year, the Region President must notify the office when a member accepts their Region's Group Admin position.

Each Region Group Admin (Database Manager) will have their Region group (Members)

Three Group Admins will have a Second 'Group'. That Group is their Website.



Welcome Group Admins


As a Group Admin you will have the ability download the group directory (members only) for your Region.  You can run a Region blog, set up forums, and have access to the resource manager to upload documents and graphics for your Region. You can also set up a photo gallery and control your region's calendar.

If you are a Region Website Admin, in addition to the Group Admin capabilities,  you will be able to change and add pages for your site.

NOTE FOR ALL ADMINS: Any events entered in the calendar will be displayed in the main NJAWBO calendar.

The Prospect list for each region is updated regularly from the "Join Our Mailing List" entries. The Site Admin(s) for your region can download this list.

NOTE: Prospects must select a region when they sign up to receive e-mail. However, they are not allowed to have a profile, or use any of the group's capabilities. The reason they select a Region is so that the Region may send invitations or otherwise engage the Prospects.


Information on how to download the Prospect List can be found in the "Download Your Prospect List" chapter. This is a PDF document that is sent to the Site Admin by HQ.

To manage your Group, log into the site with your username and password.

SELECT AND CLICK ON GROUPS FROM THE LIST UNDER MY PROFILE (right column)



Your Region Group page displays.

As Group Admin you will see an icon of a little person next to the group name.

NOTE: The star indicates the PRIMARY group you belong to.

Click on the Group Name of the group you need (in this case Monmouth-Ocean).




Before we move on, please take note of how your Group Home Page has changed. The Group Admin Icon is next to the star that designates your Primary Group. If you click on the wrench in the right column, you will see that you can Message your Region (group) members from here.
