The Mavins Group is a real estate and move management company that utilizes a network of award-winning real estate agents and caring move managers to provide families with a comprehensive suite of resources to simplify their transitions throughout life. Our services include move management, staging, and real estate sales.
I began TMG in 2007, with a vision of creating a new model of support for families and businesses during periods of major life changes. We have a wonderful team, excited by our mission and the care and kindness we show to clients on a daily basis. With an eye toward growth, both for TMG and our staff, I am open to staff ideas and input, excited that they take active roles in expanding the company. Having a company that provides flexible work models, and tremendous opportunity for job growth is a high priority.
I passionately believe that we need to support families who are managing and caring for their eldest family members, without benefit of experiences of another generation having done this before us. We see the stress of caregiving consuming large quantities of time and mental “space” of younger family members, all happening in a time of great economic challenges and evolving work/life models that intermix the two into a 24/7 world.
The economic burden is impacting businesses as it strikes their employees. I see an urgency in providing programs to businesses that provide a packaged system of TMG-proven, caring services that will alleviate and allow them to continue to maintain a full workload of focused productivity. A win for all involved: great service to families, great company culture, solid bottom lines.
With an educational base in gerontology and community development (BS, Univ. of MD), Susan started her company focusing on downsizing senior generations of families, staging and selling their houses, then completely settling them into their new homes. Today The Mavins Group is revolutionizing the relocation process by making their personalized expertise an essential asset for families of all ages who are facing complex life transitions.
I am active in the leadership in The National Association of Senior Move Managers (NASMM), as past Secretary of the Board of Directors, and currently as President.
