NJAWBO's Commitment to Diversity
NJAWBO's strength lies in the diversity of our members - their backgrounds, experiences, leadership skills and business success. NJAWBO strives to be an inclusive environment for women business owners in New Jersey , with mutual respect and appreciation of similarities and differences (such as age, culture, education, ethnicity, experience, gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, etc.)
In 2005-2006, NJAWBO actively pursued our mission for diversity, continuing to find ways to help New Jersey women business owners address the challenges and accelerate the growth, profitability and success in business. NJAWBO established affiliations with other state business organizations and an action plan for hosting more events in the urban centers of New Jersey.
The Diversity Council
In 2006-2007, the state-level Diversity Council continues this active role in shaping the future of NJAWBO. The Council, with members representing all areas of New Jersey, is priding resources for developing inclusive events and programs to increase networking and economic development opportunities for all NJAWBO members, reaching out to our diverse regional markets in New Jersey.
